Haverhill Gateway Club

Haverhill Gateway Club would like to welcome new volunteers to support people with a learning disability at their social club. Club meets on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at Haverhill Methodist Church Hall from 7pm to 9pm. The programme includes Carpet Bowls, Curling, Quizzes, trips to shows and meeting at a pub. We also go walking, play indoor and outdoor games and enjoy any excuse for a celebration with cake! Families Together Suffolk

Families Together Suffolk urgently need volunteers to provide support to young families in Haverhill. This is a very rewarding role for which full training is given. If you would like to know more about the role and how you could support local families please contact Amanda on 01379 678552.

Haverhill Family Café and Warm Hub
• Community project open to all in Haverhill
• Free Friday hot meal for families in need at 5pm
• Debt Advice and food bank hub giveaways between 2pm and 4pm by REACH Community Projects
• Friday Kids corner: crafts and play from 4pm
• Market Square/High Street Location so good central location.

Haverhill Scouts & Guides Rebuilding Project
As the project moves into the final phase we are looking for all the help we can get to complete the building with the funds available. We are looking for anyone who can help with the following:
Sourcing material at good prices, painting, plastering, plumbing, kitchen & bathroom fitting, external cladding, guttering etc. Tidying the site and grounds, fund raising, providing on site refreshments for volunteers, and many other tasks.

The Voluntary Network 
Could you offer to drive someone to a hospital appointment using your own vehicle? Drivers are needed on an as and when basis, expenses will be paid.
